Sarah Bowen

Sarah Bowen is known internationally as one of the most stylish and succesful lady riders of modern time.

As a junior rider she won;

  • Leading showjumper of the year at the Horse of the Year Show and also third on her other pony
  • Gold winning member, European Championships
  • Individual Silver, European Championships

As a young rider;

  • First Leg winner European Championships
  • British team member on six young rider European medal winning teams
  • Leading rider at Eindoven, Germany
  • Leading rider in Mons, Belgium
  • At 19 6th in the Hickstead Derby
  • 3rd in the Foxhunter Final, Hoys
  • 4th Queen Elisabeth 11 Cup, Hickstead

As a senior;

  • National Ladies Champion, Royal Lancashire Show
  • National Ladies Champion, Scope
  • 2nd at the Hickstead Derby
  • Competed on 4 Nations Cups winning the Nations Cup at Drammen, Denmark
  • Leading Lady rider Drammmen, Denmark
  • Placed in the Puissance at Hoys, clearing 7 foot

David Bowen

David was a team Silver Medalist at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, with 35 years experience and a member of over Twenty Nations’ Cup teams he is now regarded as one of today’s most out standing trainers.

David is available for training either with your current horse or with your recent purchase from Bowen Sport Horses.
